Week 2 / 6

This weekend was the Study Tour to Aarhus, the second largest city in Denmark. Over the weekend we saw two different universities and campus life, explore a drone creating facility, explored an art gallery, botanical garden, and a modern history museum, along with walk through the Old Town of Denmark! I think the three most fun and interesting explorations that we did were the art gallery, history museum, and walk through the Old Town of Denmark. The art museum was called ARoS and it had a large rainbow panaroma structure on the top of the building. It was so much fun walking through it and getting to see the city of Aarhus in so many different colors. The history museum called Moesgaad Museum, was also interesting to walk around and check out all the different kinds of exhibits and learn more about ancient Danish history. I think my favorite part about the Moesgaad Museum was that the top of the building was a grassy landscape where you can walk all the way up and see the sea side on one side and the city of Aarhus on the other.  Another really interesting attraction was the Old Town museum that had old house and buildings from 1550 to the late 19th century. We got to see an old pharmacy which consisted of a lot of old time medicines and a alligator skin hanging on the wall. Some of the girls and I decided to have a flakey, baked prezel with a sugar coating on top that was absolutely the best dessert I have ever had! It was such an incredible time.
