Your Destination
London has a history stretching back to the Romans, and there are signs everywhere. This diverse and vibrant city is home to four World Heritage sites, more than 100 world-class museums, and 3,000 parks. A contemporary global city, London is home to nearly nine million people from all over the world, and you can hear 300 different languages spoken on its streets. A major financial center and hub for the arts, London also has many eclectic neighborhoods to discover.
CIEE wants all our students to feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to succeed while studying abroad. Local CIEE staff have provided details about conditions and cultural attitudes that students with specific identities might encounter in London.
