Study Abroad in Sydney at CIEE's New Global Institute!

Australia’s multi-cultural capital is now home to CIEE’s new Global Institute! In addition to Sydney’s sunny skies, national parks, and indigenous wildlife, students can now enjoy the city’s new CIEE campus, which opened its doors in December 2019.

CIEE Global Institute - Sydney is perfectly situated in the vibrant educational hub of the Ultimo neighborhood. The facility sits on the sixth floor of a colorful co-working space and features two offices, three classrooms, a meeting room, a student lounge, a shared kitchen, and a reception area. Many large windows bring in ample natural light and offer lovely views of the surrounding neighborhood.

The Ultimo location allows students easy access to restaurants, cafés, markets, and several universities (including The University of Technology Sydney) which are all within walking distance. The Global Institute is also nearby public transportation so students can explore every inch of this seaside city. “The institute, located in the heart of the city, is in the perfect location for students to engage in all that Sydney and Australia has to offer, from its beautiful harbor to the world-famous beaches. Students interested in making this Australian gem their study abroad campus can choose from a wide range of options in Sydney including January, summer, semester Arts + Sciences, or global internship programs. The Open Campus Block program is also available. This allows students to study at up to three of CIEE’s 15 Global Institute locations in one semester. Sydney is one of the latest additions to CIEE’s Global Institute network.
