The CIEE Spanish Intercambio

Here at CIEE Barcelona, students have the opportunity to take part in an organized language exchange, or 'Intercambio'. But what really goes on at these events, and how do our students benefit?

With the help of our fantastic Spanish tutors, our Intercambios bring local students from various universities together with CIEE students in a relaxed and informal setting. Tutors are there to ensure our students chat with the locals and put what they learn in the classroom into practice! All this is done while enjoying nachos and sodas! 

What's more, through these intercambios students often make lasting friendships, and are provided with an opportunity to integrate into the local culture.
