Testimonials

  • "After hearing all the incredible energy and sustainable developments the Costa Rican government has made, it was important to see the negative impacts that come along with it. When walking by the river, surrounded by garbage and pollution with kids run all around, I stood there knowing why I became an engineer. I want to be able to help communities like these improve."

Grace O., George Washington University, Summer 2018

  • “With CIEE, students can choose the timing and duration of the program that best meets their needs and academic requirements, ensuring they stay on track for graduation while gaining important personal and professional skills in a real-world setting.”

CIEE President and Chief Executive Officer James P. Pellow, Ed.D.

  • I have participated in two study abroad programs through CIEE in Rio de Janeiro and Khon Kaen Thailand. Both programs were extremely organized and staff were friendly and helpful. The CIEE experience was valuable because they incorporated field experiences and set the foundation to interact with locals while engaging in culture.

    Kayla H., University of Wisconsin-Madison, Spring 2018

  • I would likely recommed this program to a friend or peer because of the amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience to have the ability to observe the native australian environment and wildlife.
