I had the opportunity to do the number one thing that I wanted to do on my South Korea list! I got to see TXT in concert. I had tried so many times to get tickets in the U.S. during their 2022 tour and was unsuccessful as the tickets were minimal, and if I found some, they were very expensive. But when I found out they were going on tour and were bringing in Seoul while I would be there, I knew I had to go. I had the MOA membership via Weverse, so I was able to get into the membership certification and pre-sale.

TICKETING: Ticketing took place via Interpark Ticketing. This whole process was really stressful; I'm not going to lie. It was my first time doing it, and I wanted to go very badly, making it nerve-wracking. The best advice I can give when trying to secure concert tickets while in South Korea for shows or events also taking place in South Korea is to go to a PC cafe! The computers there are gaming quickly, so they are huge and high definition. These cafes also have the highest speed internet. Don't try to get tickets on your own computer, as it may block the Korean sight, and it will be much slower than at a PC cafe. It only cost me 2,000 won to use a PC for an hour. So, I logged into the website and eagerly awaited the time to get tickets. Once it hit 8 p.m. I refreshed the page and I was in the queue to get tickets. After about 10 min, I was in and began trying to secure a ticket. It took me a few tries to get a ticket as I would click a seat, and it would say that it had been bought, but I did secure a ticket. I was sooooo excited. So, I paid for the ticket and made sure that it showed up in my Interpark account and that I got the confirmation email! Something that I really like about ticketing in Korea is that all the seats, other than VIP, are typically all the same price. In the U.S., you can find tickets for all different prices, and they tend to inflate the more the interest, but in Korea, that doesn't happen - It's so nice!

DAY OF THE CONCERT: The day of the concert, I was so excited but also really nervous as this was the first Korean concert I had been to, and the process of getting the physical ticket is a process that you have to do at the venue. You don't get a virtual QR code just to get scanned before you go in. So we arrived at the KSPO Dome for the concert, got our identity verified (BRING YOUR PASSPORT as well as the confirmation email of the ticket or the ticket info in your account), and picked up the ticket. Then we waited in line for about 45 minutes to get our wristbands (if you have a membership, have your membership ID ready). You need the ticket stub to get the wristband, but you only need to show the wristband to get into the venue. Following that, we picked up merch (I got a hat) and synced the MOA lightstick at the booth to use in the concert. There was also a booth where if you held the MOA membership, you could get an exclusive photo card, so we did that, and I pulled a Beomgyu card! We also received a banner to hold up during the concert.

IN THE CONCERT: The KSPO Dome is so cool because it is in a circular shape, so there really isn't a bad seat whatsoever. TXT is so incredibly talented and exciting to watch. I wish I had a video of the entire concert to rewatch over and over again. Their sets were so intricate, beautiful, and the same with the graphics. They played off of the senses to create an experience. The stage was constructed to reach all around the venue, and there were scents released into the air during songs to ignite smell association - it smelt sooo good and sweet. At one point, glitter fell from the ceiling onto the members during "Farewell Neverland," and I felt like I was in a fairytale that I would've read when I was younger. The members each have their own talents that they were able to showcase as a group and individually. They are such powerful dancers and have beautiful vocals. HIGHLY recommend seeing TXT if you are interested!!! I will include pictures above!
