Travel Agencies in Korea: Trazy (Gwangju SBS Super Concert)
Traveling in general can be hard for foreigners in a new country, but there are travel agencies available for these types of travel and activities especially. One site that I have been fortunate to have used is called Trazy. Recently there was a concert in Gwangju that included popular Korean singers like BTS, Twice, Momoland, TXT, NFlying, etc. This was around four hours from Seoul by bus, so a normal traveler or a normal Study Abroad student would have trouble getting there on their own. Even with KTX, it would be a bit hard to plan and travel all the way there alone, which is why luckily there are these travel agencies around, just like Trazy. I found Trazy through a reliable friend who trusted their tours, and found an event for this concert. They gave a specific itinerary for the tour hour by hour as well as all included and excluded expenses, a detailed explanation of the event, and much more information prior to booking.
When I fully purchased the package and was officially booked, up until the event date they sent several confirmation emails making sure that my purchased package was correct and that I was still set on going. When it was a couple of days before going to the concert, there was a final confirmation email sent that included a lot of safety information as well as rules and regulations, so they were very very good about getting into contact with you. They also included emergency numbers to contact if something were to go wrong.
On the day of the concert, we went to the specific meeting place and were met with people holding large flags with the name "Trazy" written on it. It was quite easy to find them and the staff all were very kind and helpful. Everyone spoke English and was able to communicate and effectively help us when we had questions.
I feel as though booking with this travel agency helped the trip to Gwangju run so much more smoothly than it would have if I simply had gone through KTX. They made sure we made it home safely as well as helped organize this whole event with proper ticketing and seating, and we ended up having a good view as well for the concert! I really recommend using Trazy in the future for travel agencies if you plan on going on a trip that they provide.
