Stop Two: Busan
As the largest port city in South Korea, Busan is a beautiful city full of beaches, mountains, temples, and sparkling water. As a port city, Busan is well know for their seafood. Even though two days have not allowed me to visit all the restaurants or scenic spots I would like, here are the places that I would like to recommend!
Haeundae Beach
It may seem obvious, but Haeundae Beach is a place that is must go, especially for your first time in Busan. Surrounded by sparkling blue water and soft sandy beaches, Haeundae beach is not only a place to fully enjoy the scenic perks of being a ocean city, but it is also its various festivals. The Busan International Film Festival being the most popular, there are also a huge variety of events and festivals that held on the beach!
While you are in Haeundae, give the...
Busan Haeundae Traditional Market a visit!
Full of local fruits, vegetables, and seafood, this street is a foodies heaven. Full of fresh sashimi, clams and mussels popping with flavor, and locally made merchandise, this street will allow you to experience a local traditions with a modern twist. Give the shellfish here a try!!
Magnate
In addition to being BTS Jimin's father's cafe, Magnate is known in the area for their beautiful rustic architecture and design, and delicious dessert croissants. The cafe is also a short 20 minutes bus ride away from the Busan Station, so it is not only a perfect cage for a relaxing afternoon, but is also fantastic if you have some time and waiting for your train. If you and your friends have an afternoonto spare in the area, this cafe will not disappoint you!
If you would like to spend more time by the water, consider spending a few hours at...
Gamcheon Culture Village
A vibrantly colored village along the water that not only focuses on the beautiful water, but also on the talented artists in the local area. From beautiful hand painted stairs to a technologically advanced tunnel experience, the Gamcheon Culture Village is not only calming and therapeutic, but also very lively and full of fun experiences.
Busan is a charming city with plenty of activities to be uncovered. Even though my trip could not even cover a fraction of what Busan is all about, follow me on Instagram @___ywh14 for more experiences and recommendatins to come!
