Wrapping Up My Internship in Korea While Preparing for Finals
Reflecting on the End of the Semester
As the semester comes to an end, I find myself completing two major milestones at once: completing my internship in Korea and preparing for finals. While both experiences have brought their own challenges and rewards, they have also allowed me to reflect on how much I have grown both personally and professionally over the past few months.
My internship has been one of the most valuable parts of my time in Korea. Working in a professional environment allowed me to apply concepts learned in the classroom to real-world situations. From collaborating with colleagues to contributing to projects and observing industry practices, I've gained insights that simply cannot be learned through textbooks alone. Every task meeting and challenge helped me develop skills in communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and adaptability.
Managing Work and Finals
As I prepare for my finals, I am grateful for the lessons learned throughout this semester. The internship has strengthened my professional skills while my academic courses have continued to build my knowledge and understanding of my field. Together, these experiences have helped me gain a clear vision of my future career goals.
Looking back, taking 5 classes while interning was a lot of work. I am proud of what I have accomplished during my time in Korea. Completing an internship in a new cultural environment while successfully managing academic responsibilities has not been easy, but it has been incredibly rewarding. As I finish this chapter and prepare for the next, I carry forward new skills, meaningful experiences, and memories that will continue to shape my personal and professional journey.
Moving Forward
For now, my focus shifts to finals with determination, preparation, and the confidence gained from this semester's experience. I am ready to finish strong and embrace whatever opportunities come next. Just know I'm making big plans for the future, whether it's in Korea or back in the States.
