Semester in Shanghai: Week 6 + 7

In week 6 we had the opportunity to visit Lego Shanghai’s offices as a class field trip where we learned about Lego’s initiatives in China, their supply management in Chinese factories, and an overall history on the company. The dazzling heights and views from the office have been some of the best views of the city I have seen so far. Later that day we got to visit the Jade Buddha Temple as a CIEE sponsored cultural excursion where we saw the beautiful architecture of this famous temple. Following this, in week 7, some of my close friends and I decided to check out Shanghai Fashion Weekend, where we got a little lost but ultimately got to see the phenomenal designs on display before closing.
