Let's set the stage: You're on the set of a CIEE Study Abroad movie. The director tells you that you have "main character energy," and they'd like to feature you as the protagonist of your own study abroad story. You've always dreamed of someday living in a foreign city and experiencing a new culture firsthand, so you agree.
The next thing you know, the writers behind the scenes are working with you to help you craft your epic study abroad adventure. They ask you a series of questions to help round out your journey abroad: What will you study? Where will you go? When will you get there?
As you consider their questions carefully, the writers hand you the script so you can fill in the blanks. Staring back at you are the most important scenes of your story you need to finish writing before you can be the CIEE main character abroad:
SCENE I: GET IN IT TO WIN IT
First things first, you have to get your name in the running in the Be the #CIEEMainCharacter Abroad sweepstakes! Missing the chance at up to $3K toward your 2023 study abroad or global internship program would be a D-list actor's mistake. If you're one of 10 grand prize winners, you'll get your choice of:
- A $1,000 grant + a $500 flight voucher for any summer 2023 study abroad or global internship program
- A $2,500 grant + a $500 flight voucher toward any fall 2023 study abroad or global internship program

- Fall Abroad: Oktoberfest in Germany, Dia de los Muertos in Mexico, or what?!
SCENE III: FIND THE PROGRAM + LOCATION THAT HITS DIFFERENT
