Americans view workout clothes as everyday clothes, while Spanish people view it as only working out. Comfort is a crucial factor in American fashion choices, as seen in the preference for athleisure or sweats daily. In Spain, there is a greater emphasis on presenting oneself in a polished and put-together manner, while in America, comfort and practicality often take precedence in fashion choices.

Climate and geography play a prominent role in fashion, with the United States having diverse climates leading to varied fashion needs across regions. For example, Texas experiences brutally hot summers, while the Northeast and Midwest regions need to bundle up for winter. Spain's climate is generally warmer, influencing a preference for lighter and more breathable fabrics. 

In terms of how fancy most people dress in both countries, there is a decent discrepancy. Americans are often known for their casual approach to fashion, even in more formal settings. Casual attire is widely accepted, and there's a focus on comfort. Spanish fashion can be more formal, especially in business and social settings. Business casual attire is trendy in Spain, with well-fitted clothing. Spanish people opt for fitted and tailored clothing, reflecting a preference for a sophisticated and well-put-together look.

The lifestyle in the U.S. often promotes a more casual and functional wardrobe. Athleisure wear is popular in the U.S., reflecting a lifestyle that values comfort and versatility. Oversized clothing, including loose-fitting tops and baggy pants, has gained popularity in the U.S., aligning with the emphasis on comfort and a more relaxed approach to fashion. Many Americans prioritize comfortable fabrics and relaxed silhouettes for day-to-day activities, and the popularity of athleisure and casual wear can be attributed to the busy lifestyles of many Americans.
