Your Business + Culture program in Dublin provides a broad selection of business courses, and places you in a city buzzing with entrepreneurial energy and cultural vibrancy. You’ll enroll in a combination of CIEE courses, host institution courses, and courses taught online through CIEE's global academic partner, ASU. Immerse yourself in co-curricular and extracurricular experiences like touring Trinity College and the Book of Kells, attending workshops at Dublin’s tech hubs, enjoying traditional Irish music in Temple Bar, and sampling local foods at the English Market. Dublin’s blend of global industry, creativity, and Irish tradition makes it an inspiring place to live and learn.

CIEE Dublin: Study in the heart of Dublin’s lively south central district, five minutes from the River Liffey and Merrion Square. CIEE Dublin features three classrooms and a student lounge and is conveniently near a mix of independent cafés, bakeries, and stores.

Dublin City University (DCU): DCU was established in the early 1980s and hosts 16,000 students, more than 20% of whom are international. Its multidisciplinary programs stimulate entrepreneurial awareness and activity through strong links with Dublin-based and international businesses. DCU features a modern campus located on more than 80 acres just north of the city with central green areas, cafés, a theater, library, bookstore, banking facilities, and an active student union. Classes are held on the Glasnevin, St Patrick’s, and All Hallows campuses and taught by DCU faculty.  

Arizona State University (ASU): Brought to you by CIEE in partnership with ASU, enhance your international coursework with online classes that align with your degree requirements. ASU offers thousands of online courses in asynchronous 7.5-week sessions that fit within the CIEE academic calendar.

Course Information

  • Not all Host Institution courses (known as ‘modules’ in Ireland) are available to study abroad students. Course registration is finalized on-site. Class timetables are only available on arrival, during orientation week, however the Irish academic system allows for flexibility in the final registration window for international students.   
  • You can only choose Host Institution courses from one discipline (called “stream” in Ireland). You may not mix disciplines/“streams.”
