Homestay: Students can choose to live in a Spanish homestay (one or two CIEE students per home). Each student will be placed in a single room.
Shared Apartment: January term students may elect to share an apartment, which may have double or single rooms with shared kitchens and laundry facilities.
Residence hall: Students may also live in a residencia (residence hall) with other Spanish and international students. As slots in residencias may be limited, students who end up being assigned to another housing option of their choice will be notified by resident staff prior to arriving in Barcelona.
Students living in a homestay will have breakfast and dinner provided at home, while lunch will be at their expense. Meals are not included for students living in the residencias or shared apartments, though they will share fully equipped kitchens where they can prepare their own meals.
Where You'll Study
All homestays and residencias are located in the city of Barcelona and are within 30 minutes, by public transportation, of the CIEE Study Center.
