Drawing from our robust network of companies and host organizations in more than 15 cities around the world, we will match you with a 12-week, project-based internship based on your academic profile and career goals. Participants can expect to learn to navigate synchronous and asynchronous collaboration across time zones while gaining critical on-the-job skills like self-confidence, independence, and project management.

This program contains 225 internship hours in total. That breaks down to 18-20 hours/week. This is a great option for students who may also be taking courses or have other commitments and want to have a part-time internship experience.

This program is designed in a non-credit format. However, speak to your university and we can work with you and your advisor to determine how we can help you achieve credit for participating in the program.

What People are Saying

  • "If you're on the fence about a virtual internship--do it!
I had no experience working in the field, never worked online, and didn't speak the language of my employer. I was nervous at first, but so happy I took the plunge! I've learned so many new skills, worked with people all over the world, and explored aspects of sustainability jobs. If I could, I would 100% do it again!"
