While not a prerequisite, it is useful for the intern to have some practical knowledge of permaculture and small scale farming methods. The intern should have excellent communication skills, a passion for agriculture, and the willingness to get their hands dirty in the soil. They should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be willing to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
