What does Orientation actually mean?
Spring semester has already started, and students have completed their orientation in which they received key information about logistics, academics, and much more. Nevertheless, orientation is so much more than this: it is an opportunity to meet new people, make friends, and interact with fellow students on your new program.
The highlight of orientation was the butifarrada: A BBQ meal in the fresh air, the main componant being a grilled Catalan sausage. For this event, students could enjoy one of the most typical dishes of Catalan cuisine (along with pa amb tomaquet), and also have fun by playing different popular games linked to different regions in Spain. Working in groups, students “travelled” through Spain to get their first passport by completing different activities such as The Hankerchief Game, Basque Football, Pictionary, The Octopus Game, 3 legged Football.
