Today we left Rabat at about 8:30 in the morning and arrived in Marrakech close to 1 in the afternoon. After dropping our bags in the hotel, we drove to the Medina in Marrakech and had lunch on the top floor of a restaurant with a beautiful view of the city below. I ate some really tasty chicken tajine, a salad, and some mango juice. After that we walked around the Medina on a guided tour. We learned all about the history of the Medina and the mosque across the street from it, which dates back to the 12th century. At the end of the tour, we began a scavenger hunt, which involved us interacting with various shopkeepers and locals. We asked for directions, bought juice, and haggled over clothing. I bought myself a nice pair of pants that I can wear tomorrow on our hike to the amazeigh village.

I ended the day with dinner at a sushi restaurant down the street from our hotel in Marrakech with some of my friends. Saturday morning, we left Marrakech and traveled to the mountains outside the city. There, we rode camels, saw an old synagogue, ate lunch, and went for a hike through an amazeigh village. Upon returning toMarrakech, we went to the Medina once again and had dinner there. On Sunday, we visited a garden in the center of the city, which had many plants and animals from all over the world, and also contained a memorial for the famous fashion designer saint yves Lauren. After that, we returned to the Medina for the last time, got lunch and shopped. Following that, we got on the bus and drove all the way back to Rabat
