Fall 2018: our trip to the capital
Our group got to spend a 3-day holiday weekend in Madrid in the end of November! Our first day, Friday, we checked into our super trendy hostel. We got food at a neat market and ate by the Palace. Antonia showed us around Madrid and we got to walk down the Grand Via. My favorite part of this day were the churros at one of the most famous churrerias in Madrid that Antonia J On the second day we got to see the cathedral. We also went to two different museums: La Prada and the Reina Sofia. We saw a lot of famous art pieces and walked through many gardens with statues of kings and historic war figures. On Sunday we got to have delicious tapas for lunch and headed back to Palma. The trip to Madrid was overall successful and we had a great time!
