College Study Abroad

From world-renowned historical and religious sites to stunning natural landscapes, remarkable art galleries to spectacular shopping areas, Amman will capture your heart during study abroad!

Our Middle East Studies program offers an incredible opportunity for you to immerse yourself in Middle Eastern history, culture, and politics while gaining Arabic language skills! You can enroll in CIEE electives and attend special site visits to governmental, national, and international organizations, or engage in university life at our partner school, Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT). Through PSUT, you’ll take courses across a range of academic areas, including economics, history, international relations, environment, literature, politics, and communications - alongside local and international students.

You’ll also be able to complete a for-credit internship at local institutions and organizations like Eco-Peace, Leaders of Tomorrow, Generations for Peace, the American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan, the Jesuit Refugee Service, and the U.S. Agency for International Development. By the end of the program, your resume will be STACKED!

Our programs aren’t just about academics; there’s plenty of time for excursions and co-curricular activities! In the past, students have visited a variety of Jordan’s archaeological, historical, and natural wonders with local guides – including camping and stargazing in the middle of the desert during an excursion to Wadi Rum, hiking in a Middle Eastern forest, and exploring Petra and the Citadel.
