Brand [NEW] Ticketing Experience: How to Ticket with NOL World
No matter if you’re new to ticketing or you’ve done ticketing before, ticketing is stressful, and ticketing in another country can be scary. As a K-pop fan, I was excited to come to Korea where ticket prices are much more reasonable than in the United States but was scared to navigate the ticketing sites. I have now attended both SEVENTEEN’s [NEW] ENCORE and BTS’s ARIRANG concert through NOL World, and here are the things I wish I knew when I first starting ticketing with NOL World
Make sure to verify your account
After you’ve created your account on NOL World, click on the left side where it says “Verified Member Only” and follow the steps. The website requires your physical passport to ensure the name on the ticket matches your legal name in your passport. It may take up to 24 hours for the system to fully register your verification. This step is crucial. Without verifying your account, you won’t be able to purchase most, if not all, tickets on NOL World.
Get a membership, if possible
For popular groups, it’s extremely difficult to get good tickets during the general sale period. I would highly recommend purchasing artist membership if you really want to get tickets. If you decide to purchase membership, make sure to verify your membership by clicking on the button during the verification period which will direct you to the membership website.
Log on at least 15 minutes before the start time
Try to go to a space with a strong Internet connection like a PC 방 to and log in with plenty of time. If you’re getting tickets during the pre-sale period, you should log in and click on the “pre-sale” button at least 15 minutes before the sale start time. You’ll see a timer counting down the time until sale. Also, make sure that popups are enabled on your device otherwise your payment won’t be completed.
Have at least two cards ready
Once you reach checkout, you’ll be asked to enter your local contact number (phone number from your home country) and cell phone number (Korean phone number). These are only in case of emergency; NOL World won’t contact either of these numbers unless absolutely necessary. Then, you’ll be directed to the payment section. NOL World accepts only Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, UnionPay, and WeChatPay. I would recommend having at least two cards prepared because sometimes NOL World won’t accept some cards. Additionally, be quick with your purchase. Once you have selected your section and seat, you have 10 minutes to completely checkout and secure your ticket.
Register Face Pass
For venues using Face Pass, make sure to register your face on the NOL Ticket app. It takes around 3 minutes and is similar to a phone’s FaceID setup. This will allow you to enter into the concert venue simply by scanning your face. No ID needed! Whether you register for face pass or not, you should still bring either your passport or your Korean residence card (RC, formerly ARC) in case something goes wrong.
WARNING: Do not purchase resale tickets. As of January 2026, scalping is illegal in South Korea, so you will not be able to purchase tickets listed higher than the original purchase price. Additionally, NOL World does not allow transfers or resale tickets.
