Program Overview
Sharpen your pencils for an artist's dream trip to Europe!

From Prague's architectural gems to Florence’s world-famous museums, find inspiration on a 6-week artistic adventure!

Start in the Czech Republic with a 3-week Art-Making in Prague's Creative Studios program, designed in partnership with the world-renowned Art & Design Institute. Draw inspiration from medieval streets and colorful art galleries. Try your hand at a broad range of visual art techniques–from painting and drawing to photography.

Continue to Florence, Italy on our 3-week Drawing in the Capital of Arts program. Immerse yourself in the world of artists who sparked the Italian Renaissance, like Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, and develop your own skills as you sketch in iconic sites like Palazzo Vecchio or the Duomo di Firenze. On excursions, see more of the stunning Tuscany region, with its rolling hills and villas.

This 6-week program is a unique chance to train your eyes and develop artistic skills with other teens who share your passion. Come home with a portfolio showcasing your talent and progress, and more importantly, with friends and memories to last a lifetime!

The Destination

Welcome to Prague and Florence, two enchanting European destinations with breathtaking art.

Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and one of the world’s most exquisite cities. Nicknamed “the City of a Hundred Spires,” it is best known for its Old Town Square, with Baroque buildings, Gothic churches, and its medieval Astronomical Clock. Every day is a history lesson. And yet, Prague is a colorful mix of old and new, a center of innovation in one of the fastest-growing countries in the region. A walking tour of Prague takes you past architectural gems, bustling cafés, and exceptional gardens and parks.

Italy is home to an impressive 60% of the world’s most important works of art, and half of them are in Florence! As “the cradle of the Renaissance,” Florence ushered European civilization through the Middle Ages and into its rebirth. The transition is still visible today in its incredible architecture, landmarks, and piazzas and throughout Florence’s hundreds of museums, galleries, and churches. In Florence, you’ll be inspired to create as you trace the evolution of art from medieval times to how we see it today.
