Reserva ecológica & Río de la Plata
After a short but sweet week with two national holidays, we wrapped things up by visiting the Reserva ecológica (Ecological reserve) on Friday. Students commented that it was nice to breathe in some fresh air and escape the skyscrapers for a bit of open space in nature. Buenos Aires is a port city, but it is sometimes easy to forget about the shoreline and the Río de la Plata with all the hustle and bustle of city life.
After walking through the Reserva ecológica, students caught their first glimpse of the Río de la Plata. Students took photos, took in the calm of the Río, had a brief gymnastics battle, and reflected on their time so far in Buenos Aires.
