Our time in Guanajuato so far!
The students have been busy immersing themselves in beautiful Guanajuato! Our days consist of going to classes in the morning and then cultural activities in the afternoon. In the evenings students do their homework, spend time with their host families, and enjoy the many free events that Guanajuato has to offer! They are really loving it! Below are some photos from our many adeventures in our time here in Mexico!
We had a blast visiting lots of sites in Mexico City! Here we are by the National Musuem of Anthropology.
We can take silly pictures in front of the musuem too!
We've also enjoyed learning how to dance to Spanish music.
... And let's talk about the food. We had a guacamole contest. The judges had a blast deciding which guacamole was best.
We have also enjoyed the some traditional events in Guanajuato, like the callejoneadas. We walked the streets and these gentlemen sang to us the whole time!
Lastly, this past weekend we visited the famous city of Dolores Hidalgo. This is the site of the start of the Mexican War of Independence.
