The Destination

Welcome to Milan, a modern metropolis that has inspired fashion entrepreneurs for decades.

Although officially established as a fashion capital in 2009, Milan has long influenced global fashion trends. The city's history of fashion dates back to the Renaissance, when craftsmanship and textile production were the backbone of local industry. Today, Milan hosts one of the world's most famous Fashion Weeks every year.

Nestled in northern Italy, Milan isn't far from the beauty of Lake Como and the Italian Alps. Milan’s culture of art and fashion can be felt around every corner. Impressive landmarks, such as Sforza Castle, a historic fortress housing an art museum with one of Michelangelo's final masterpieces, highlight the city’s rich heritage. Traditional Milanese street foods, like minestrone Milanese (a hearty vegetable soup) and tiramisu offer delicious ways to connect with local friends and experience the city’s culinary delights.

The time you spend in Milan will open your eyes to the business of fashion as you develop marketing tools that will help you succeed in any field.
