Cailey Oehler

Spanish Language & Mexican Culture Climate Change Mitigation

Cailey moved across the country to California mid-pandemic to dive back in to language teaching after a few years directing global travel programs and teaching global engagement at a high school in Ohio.  She has led student travel programs in Costa Rica, Panamá, Perú, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Spain, Italy, and México. She grew up on the East coast and her family is from Maine. Her heart’s home is Bogotá, Colombia, where she spent several years teaching English in public universities and mentoring Fulbright teaching assistants. She enjoys traveling, reading, eating, and finding new experiences and ways to grow. She lives on an island in the San Francisco Bay with her cat Tinto.
