LET'S START!
This experience has finally begun and we are all very excited!
On Sunday 11th the students have arrived at Fiumicino Airport (Rome), despite the tiredness of the long journey, they have shown immediately their enthusiasm for this adventure. After picking them up at the airport we went all together to the hotel just to leave their luggage and after that we visited the school where we also had our first lunch with the real Italian pizza! In the afternoon the students attended a short welcome presentation and then just relax before going to have dinner. The day after, on Monday 12th, the guys joined an orientation class about the program and the activities they are going to carry out; they had lunch and then a short tour around the neighbourhood where they saw Palazzo Vittoriano, Campidoglio, Fori imperiali and Via del Corso. At the end of the tour they went shopping for one hour and luckily we had the chance to admire the Italian national soccer team parade in Piazza Venezia in honour of their victory of the European Championship: it was amazing and very funny!
We can’t wait to discover Rome and understand more about its culture!!
