The Destination
Welcome to Seville, a sun-soaked city in southern Spain where rhythm and tradition fill the air.
As the birthplace of flamenco, Seville pulses with music and movement. Other traditional dances, such as sevillanas and fandango, echo through the streets, connecting communities during vibrant festivals and local celebrations. The city's culture reflects centuries of Moorish, Jewish and Christian influences, woven into its architecture, traditions and cuisine, demonstrating the various groups that have called the region home over the centuries.
Get a taste of that cultural heritage in Barrio Santa Cruz, the city's old Jewish quarter, known for beautiful whitewashed walls and hidden plazas. At the Royal Alcázar, hand-painted tiles showcase intricate patterns and scenes from days gone by. From the top of the La Giralda, the Seville Cathedral's bell tower, take in sweeping views of this charming city. Taste traditional Andalusian dishes like croquetas, fried béchamel sauce with ham or chicken and salmorejo, a creamy, cold tomato soup. With its warm hospitality and passion for art and expression, the rhythm of Seville will draw you in.
