The Destination
Welcome to Milan, the economic and design capital of Italy.
From tailored outfits to perfectly shaped espresso cups and grand stone buildings, Milan is dripping with style. That focus has deep roots. As early as the Middle Ages, Milan was a major center of trade and textile production in northern Italy, known for silk and craftsmanship. By the 19th and 20th centuries, it had become one of Italy’s leading industrial cities, where manufacturing and design evolved side by side. Today, that history shows up in its role as a global capital of fashion, art, and design.
People watch in tiled piazzas, sipping espresso or gobbling up every flavor of gelato you can find. In neighborhoods like Brera, known for its narrow streets, art galleries, and creative energy, pop into artisan boutiques. Explore the culinary delights of Northern Italy, enjoying risotto alla milanese, saffron-flavored, or a classic cotoletta, a crispy, breaded cutlet that’s a regional staple.

Top Rated Activities
Day Trip to Monza & Formula 1 Circuit
Step onto one of the fastest tracks in the world at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, known as the “Temple of Speed,” where Formula 1 cars have raced for over a century. As you walk through the circuit, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the pit lane, paddock, and winner’s podium, seeing firsthand where drivers and teams operate under extreme precision and pressure. Along the way, you’ll learn how engineering, aerodynamics, and technology come together to power high-performance racing at the highest level.
After time at the track, head into the city of Monza, where you’ll explore historic streets through a guided challenge with your group. From the medieval cathedral to the royal palace, you’ll uncover a different side of the region, ending the day with a mix of adrenaline, discovery, and shared experiences you won’t forget.
Overnight Excursion to Modena
Spend the night in Modena, a compact city at the center of Italy’s Motor Valley, known for both high-performance cars and some of the country’s most celebrated food traditions. Visit the Enzo Ferrari Museum, built around Enzo Ferrari’s birthplace, where a striking yellow gallery — Ferrari’s signature color — houses a collection of historic and modern cars. As you explore, you’ll get a closer look at Enzo Ferrari’s story, how he turned an idea into one of the most recognizable automotive brands in the world, and what that kind of vision, risk-taking, and persistence can look like in your own future.
Back in the city, you’ll spend time moving through Modena’s streets and central piazzas with your group, taking in its slower pace. Food is a highlight here: taste traditional balsamic vinegar, aged for years (sometimes decades!) until it becomes thick, dark, and intensely flavorful, often more valuable than wine in this region. Try local specialties like fresh tortellini or warm breads from neighborhood spots, and experience how seriously this region takes what it makes. After dinner, join in a passeggiata (a relaxed evening stroll), wandering together through Modena’s romantic streets and picturesque piazzas.
