Dublin Vikings Make a Splash
Global Entrepreneurship student, Colin Vorreyer, reflects on the activities of the day which included a viking tour of the city and a general orientation to the program.
What was your impression of the Viking Splash Tour?
The tour was kind of weird because part of it meant we had to yell at people on the street and pretend to be vikings, but it was really cool to learn about the different areas in town, especially the corporate offices like Facebook and Google. It was also really cool that we got to go in the water on the bus.
What was something interesting that you learned about the city through the tour?
It was interesting to learn about how so many different businesses have their European headquarters in Dublin.
How are you feeling about Dublin so far?
I love it- it's a cool city. A lot of walking, but it is so cool to look at and walk through.
