Uno, dos, tres, CUATRO!
This week, our students have learned some new skills on the dance floor and in the music room! In small groups, they practiced some of the basic steps of the Sevillana (a traditional style of folk music and dance that originated in the south of Spain in the 15th century) and how to play el cajón (the percussion instrument that frequently accompanies a Sevillana performance). Many stepped outside of their comfort zones during these activities and did a great job! See below for some photos and videos of the highlights:
