Trying Our Hand at Tile
CIEE participants have seen an abundance of unique, eye-catching tiles inside and outside of buildings throughout Lisbon. Today we had the opportunity to tour the National Tile Museum and put our artistic talents to the test. Housed in a former convent, students viewed museum tiles that date back over 500 years along with more modern tiles. Styles, tastes, and techniques have evolved, but tiles are here to stay. Each student had the chance to make a tile; check out some of our amazing work!
