Taiko Drumming

The students got to experience the traditional Japanese art of takio drumming.      They had an one hour lesson with their sensei.      Throughout their lesson they learned how to breathe properly and perform to the beat of the music.      By the end they were able to perform a song as a unit.      Everyone was able to enjoy the joy of music and the unity of working together.      It also ended up being a great exercise for everyone.
