Taking Climate Action

These students are amazing! We have travelled from all over America and Canada, and have arrived in Denmark ready to go. After dropping off bags in our hotel Cabinn we gathered at CIEE Center to learn the "lay of the land." We had safety and culture classes, got our rooms and ate some real meals (airplane food...blech). The CIEE Copenhagen team takes such good care of us. We took a short walk to the store and the harbor on our first night but other than that, we were happy to settle into our rooms and SLEEP.

The weather is gorgeous- the rains parted for us to take our city walk on day 2. We got some great language and culture education and then took what we learned into the city with our guide after lunch. Lunch was DELICIOUS! Everything is local and fresh and we are learning how to navigate Copenhagen quickly. The locals walk, bike, and take public transport so we do the same! We ended day 2 with another great meal together in a different part of town and then had some free time to explore before curfew.

On day 3 we got our first Climate Action class with Professor Josephine and she is so knowledgeable. The morning breakfast, meet up, and trip to CIEE Center is becoming routine. Can't wait for today's Canal Tour!
