Session 2 Arrival Day
I am happy to announce that all students have made it safely to Rome! For some the journey was long and for others, longer, but the important thing is that everyone arrived safe and sound to the final destination, Rome.
The group was immediately welcomed by the fabulous CIEE Rome staff and Program Leaders, and after a short coach ride, we were all able to settle into our dorm rooms.
In the afternoon, students had the opportunity to meet their assigned language group and Program Leader. After some brief introductions and ice-breakers, all students participated in a program orientation led by CIEE Rome Director.
Students are getting along, enjoying their time together, but most of all are showing great excitement for the beginnning of this adventure!
For a complete cultural immersion, in the evening, students "suffered" with the Program Leaders while watching the UEFA Europa League Final: Italy - England..... ITALIA CAMPIONE!!!!!!!!
