Recap of our 1st weekend in Spain!
Language and Culture in Madrid has been busy with activities this weekend! The Madrid program got a chance to bond on our two and three person kayaks and wandering through the historic city of Segovia. We had the most amazing time exploring Spanish culture. We spent Saturday morning kayaking through a river in Hoces de Duraton, a small pueblo on the outside of Segovia. Later we had the opportunity to visit the historic town of Segovia. This city has it all including a Roman Aqueduct, an impressive cathedral, and a castle so beautiful- it inspired Walt Disney!
The city of Segovia gave us a taste of Spanish culture in a way we never imagined! We cannot wait to see what week two holds for us!
