¡"Piragüismo" and Segovia!
This past Saturday, we escaped the heat of the city to spend a pleasant afternoon "haciendo piragüismo" (kayaking) in the Spanish countryside. We encountered local wildlife and enjoyed our natural surroundings along the way.
After a well-deserved lunch break, we continued on to the historic city of Segovia. We discussed the city's famous aqueduct, a prime example of Roman architecture, and climbed to a better vantage point for the perfect view! The weekend after next, we will continue our exploration of areas outside of Madrid during a weekend-long excursion to Valencia - ¡no podemos esperar!
