Kayaking in El Parque Natural Hoces del Río Duratón
Saturday was a perfect day for kayaking...the sun was shining and it wasn't too hot. Some of the students were pros at handling the kayak while others needed a bit more guidance. :D The river's natural scenery was gorgeous but we also got to see the ruins of the Monasterio de Nuestra Señora de los Angeles de la Hoz. This area is also the largest nesting area of "buitres", a vulture, in the area and so we were able to see many of them flying around as well as their nests on top of the cliffs.
