Over 100 students arrived in Madrid Sunday for their 4 week High School Study Abroad program. As students loaded busses for the hotel, the buzz of excitement was all around. Some whispers, some chatter, and some unspoken... all clearly conveyed a mixture of excitement, nervousness, and anticipation. Once we arrived at the hotel students were immediately looking for and meeting face to face all the contacts they've made over social media and through the Canvas course. This huge group became fast friends!
Our first outing was to Principe Pio 2, where students had a short amount of free time to explore, grab some food from the food court and get to know each other more.
It's been a great start and we have high hopes for this amazing group of students!
