Getting out of your comfort zone in Madrid!
One of the ways in which our Global Navigators are challenged in our program is through daily Community Conversations, also known as "Misión Ñ" here in Spain. Through this activity, they put in practice what they've been learning in the classroom & test their language skills by speaking to locals about different topics and at different settings. Among the things that our amazing participants have done are speaking to people at local plazas, going to libraries and movie theaters to find out what's popular in Spain, and even interviewing local artists.
While a few of these "Mision ñ" are done as a whole group, most of them happen in pairs and sometimes even solo... Sounds nerveracking, right? Our Global Navigators have been doing an amazing job getting out of their comfort zone to make the most out of these experiences, interacting with locals and learning more about the hosts culture here in Madrid.
¡Enhorabuena, chic@s!
