Adventures in Rennes
Students were filled with adventure this Wednesday as they participated in a Scavenger Hunt. We had two different groups accompanied by Program Leaders to assist with any questions. Students were able to visit Le Parc du Thabor, l'Opera, L'Hotel de Ville, La Cathedrale Saint-Pierre, and La Criee. Every student put their sneakers to good use as we walked through most of Rennes. We had joyful weather and were able to enjoy the sunshine. Some students even bought some small snacks and enjoyed them en pleine aire (outside).
These past couple of days, students have been impressed with the French lifestyle as they have been enjoying their home-stays. Every student was given a host family which allows them to be immersed in the French culture but also allow them to grow their French skills in a welcoming environment. Students have created friendships within the Language & Culture Program that help each other navigate the city of Rennes.
