Hi friends!
Welcome to my blog...that feels so surreal to say but here we are :)
I guess you all are probably wondering why on earth did he call us "friends", and we don't even know him yet haha. Well... My name is Juan Michael Watkins (he/him/his), I am 25 years old, and I am super excited for you all to join me on this incredible journey. I can't wait to cultivate a safe space with you all to share the highs and lows as I navigate life as an American teaching and learning in Spain. Below, I will include some facts about my self:
My big three: Sagittarius(sun) Scorpio(rising) Gemini(moon) ...I'm not toxic I promise!! Haha
Schooling: Undergrad was done at Morehouse College where I received a Bachelors of Science in Biology and Public Health, and Graduate school was done at the University of Miami where I received a Masters of public health in Epidemiology.
I love to read, laugh, hang with friends, eat, try new cuisines, sing(I'm not too shabby), travel, and participate in community theatre when I have a spare moment.
