A wonderful rainy day in Alicante!
For the first time in over two weeks we woke up to a rainy day in Alicante but the city remained as beautiful as ever! After their classes, the students strolled with their PL's through the Barrio de Santa Cruz which is a small and quaint old neighborhood on the slopes of the South-West part of Mount Benacantil. The students enjoyed walking through the narrow streets admiring the beautiful architecture of small white houses and old buildings many with balconies decorated with flowers.

After their walk, the students used what they had learned and practiced in class to discuss bullfighting in Spain through a mini debate amongst themselves. It was a fun and lively debate!
In the afternoon, the students had a wonderful time at the beach where they enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding and paddle boat. The weather was ideal, though cloudy, the sea was very calm.

It was truly a wonderful cloudy day in Alicante!
