We've made it to Madrid!

After a long day of traveling from all over the country, we all finally made it to Madrid! We checked into our hotel and visited the CIEE center for the first time! Check out our photo with our new CIEE fans, just like locals! We had a great time getting to know each other, our Program Leaders, and the local CIEE staff. We woke up Monday morning in Madrid for the first time, had some orientation sessions and visited Retiro Park (on the metro!!!) with our Program Leaders. In the evening we met our host families and finally got to stay in our home for the next month. On Tuesday morning we went on a walking tour of the main sites of the city and had some time to explore the city center with our friends. Now it's time for our first Spanish class! Hasta luego!
