We Run The Streets - Milano T-Shirt Graffiti and Painting
We had an exciting activity with the students working with with a few Milanese graffiti artists to create T-shirts with spray paint. The artists showed us how they do their work as part of the collettivo We Run The Streets. They promote and help others learn about urban culture throughout Milan.
They were founded in 2014 with an internationally recognized collective of artists. Their projects range from the social to the scholastic sphere and they have managed to increasingly attract the interest and recognition of both the institutions and the subjects - citizens and companies - with pleasure to collaborate!
The students enjoyed using their hands in this activity and I've even seen some wearing the shirts already. They will take them back as souvenirs to share and remember their experience and time in Milan. The photos shared shows all the student's artwork during our afternoon activity after class!
