Service and Learning
In addition, to enjoying Senegal culture we are also using our time to give back to the community. Currently we are working in a center where children are from improvised backgrounds. As a Senegal team we dedicated our time by painting the children home. We all took part in painting making the site more colorful and playful. While some simply played with the children. We learned how to play local games and also taught the children some games back at home. Though we came to Senegal to “help” improvised youth we are learning that really these students we are working with our teaching us.
