Referring Students to High School Summer Abroad Programs

High school summer abroad opens the doors to new languages, cultures, perspectives, and memories.

Many high school students who return from high school summer abroad programs feel compelled to recommend these experiences to their peers, advocating for them to take a chance and invest in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Spreading the word can be as simple as posting on social media, creating a travel blog, or helping host study abroad info sessions at school or during virtual events. However, some students find more unique ways to do it.

In 2021, Global Navigator alum Katherine L. traveled to Barcelona on a Spanish Language & Culture program.

Now in college, she continues to be a big advocate for study abroad.

Check out our podcast with Katherine to learn how she's been promoting study abroad for nearly two years.
