Milongas & Tango
What a great afternoon at the Milonga El Beso in Buenos Aires! We went for tango lessons, had fun practicing the steps we learned, and had café con leche and medialunas while sharing and enjoying the dance floor with locals.
We had a great instructor but when the class began, not everybody felt very comfortable moving to the sound of tango music. The steps were not easy; however, after a few minutes into the class, everybody was following the steps and dancing to the beautiful music. Everyone found a dancing partner and the fun kicked in! The class lasted one hour and then we went to the main dancing room where café con leche and medialunas were waiting for us. The open floor and the inviting music made many of our students dance alongside the locals, who were already there enjoying the afternoon.
It was great to see our participants be part of such a wonderful Argentinian authentic cultural tradition!
