La Famiglia - il primo fine settimana insieme

It was the first weekend spent with the student's homestay families. Our students did many different activities in Milan and in surrounding areas! Many of my students said they left to the mountains, to the beach in Liguria, ate delicious meals, did lots of shopping and even some group of students did a 10K run here in the city!
With a homestay family, students can experience another culture share traditions, try different foods and learn each other's language! Homestay families can develop into life-long friendships between the students and the hosts.
We are proud of all the students who are embracing the country and culture even if the change can be difficult at times. They are using the language with their families and even with one another while at restaurants and touring the city all together. This next week is the second week of language classes, and we can't wait to see their progress in class and while practicing at home with their family!
