An English Lesson with Kurishima Elementary School Students
Our students had the opportunity to visit a local Tokyo elementary school and meet with their 1st grade classes!
After welcoming remarks from Kurishima principal, Yagi kochou sensei, and greetings from the first graders, we were off to their classroom to play a game of tag!
We then went back inside for a cultural exchange of song and games! CIEE students taught games like "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes," American rock, paper, and scissors, and the "slide" (the hand counting game)!
The room filled with loud laughter and bright smiles! We hope to visit them again one day in the future!
